The Village of South Bloomfield's "Marvin Webster Memorial Park" is located on SR 316
West, west of USR 23. It is open from sunrise to sunset. Please observe the rules and regulations posted at the front of the
park.
More information on the park will be posted here in the near future.
As Village Officials have looked over designs for a new park to enhance the beauty of the community and reflect the growing
need for a safe, fun and recreational area for families to play and have events, the Village Council took the votes collected
from this website as well as votes from the main office.
The decision, based on those votes, was to focus on Village Park Plan B, pictured below. As more information comes up
that will show progress on this venture, it will be posted here.

"Scioto River Front Park Project"
The Village of South Bloomfield is interested in the communities response to
the creation of another recreational environment for parents, teachers, children, and other members of the commmunity.
The "River Front Park Project" is a project that will create another recreational
area at SR 316 and the Scioto River area. Currently this area is an open field that is not being used. The Village is interested
in YOUR OPINION. This area will include 175 vehicle parking area, 2 full size baseball diamonds, a walking path, a 10.5 acre
lake, a wetlands boardwalk, a lakeside standing/fishing dock, and a 50'x'200 shooting range. All of this will be at NO COST
to the Village or any additional costs to the Community.
Please view over the design below and cast your vote on whether you would like
to see this project come to pass. Please keep in mind, on the design there is a concession area and playground area. Unfortunately
at this time, those two items are not going to be included on the actual project, but may be visited after completion.
